About Cordae
Cordae, whose real name is Cordae Amari Dunston, is an American rapper and songwriter known for his thoughtful and introspective lyricism. Cordae was born on August 26, 1997, in Raleigh, North Carolina, and later moved to Suitland, Maryland. He was exposed to music at an early age and began rapping as a teenager.

Cordae gained attention in the rap scene through his freestyles and performances, showcasing his impressive wordplay and storytelling abilities.In 2018, Cordae joined the YBN (Young Boss N*ggas) collective, a group of young rappers who gained popularity through their online presence and music. Under the moniker "YBN Cordae," he released tracks with the collective, including the hit "Kung Fu."
